Frequently Asked Questions
Is the random picker truly random?
It uses JavaScript's Math.random(), which is a cryptographically non-secure pseudorandom generator. For everyday use — classroom draws, raffles, game picks — it's more than fair. For high-stakes decisions requiring provable fairness, use a certified random service.
Can I pick more than one item at once?
Yes. Set the pick count to any number. In 'No repeats' mode, each item can only be picked once per draw. In 'Repeats OK' mode, the same item may appear multiple times.
How many items can the list have?
There's no hard limit — the tool handles lists of thousands of items. Larger lists might take a moment to parse, but picks remain instant.
