Wind chill describes how cold the air feels on exposed skin due to wind. Our calculator uses the official NOAA 2001 wind chill formula: WC = 35.74 + 0.6215T - 35.75V^0.16 + 0.4275TV^0.16 (°F/mph). Switch between imperial and metric units. The formula applies when temperature is at or below 50°F (10°C) and wind speed is at least 3 mph (5 km/h).
